U.S. Army Corps of Engineers · 2017–present

The resident management system the Corps uses to manage construction contracts worldwide. A WPF desktop client and an ASP.NET Web API back end, deployed to IIS inside DoD networks. Started on the help desk, already reading the code, then moved into full-stack development. Now owns production releases.

Highlights

• Android app. Built the RMS Android app in Kotlin, with DoD-compliant encryption and secure API integration, starting from no Kotlin, Java, or Android experience.
• 50% faster deployments. Pushed for release automation in Azure DevOps and helped build it, halving deployment time while shipping safely to production government databases.
• Modern auth. OAuth 2.0 email authentication against DoD Exchange through Microsoft Graph, plus TOTP multi-factor authentication (RFC 6238).
• Standardized audit history. Redesigned and documented a revision-history migration framework, now used across the codebase.
• AI-assisted delivery. Introduced Claude Code integration, custom skills that encode the system’s architecture and release workflow, with MCP tooling in daily feature work and code review.

  An iOS app for managing a baseball-card collection. Camera OCR to read cards, with local-first storage that syncs to the cloud. Built 2025–2026, learning Swift and iOS from scratch.
